Recently, we've got a new section mate. Well I guess most of you already know -- Rashidah! Okay I know this switching of instrument is really massive. So Rashidah, get used to it! ;)
As you know, horns are (quite) good in drills -- well, it used to be better, but we are still one of the top sections in drills I believe. We are the Best Section after all. So, you must uphold the French Horn glory yeah? =)
Hmm..Singapore Fireworks Festival is around the corner -- this coming Friday and Saturday. I guess the Sec 4s will be apprehensive about going, but I'm going for sure. At least there will not be a super obvious hole in AP and all the other formations cuz my spot is in front for those formations. (3 cheers for Mich!!! ;P Nyehehe..)
Wahaha I guess it will be a damn magnificent sight lor. Finish our display then BOOM! got fireworks. WOW yeah? I'm looking forward to it, but I hope this is the LAST time cuz prelims are around the corner and I've not started yet!! (RED ALERT!!)
I have not recovered from the 'missing KL sickness' yet. I wanna go back!!! I wanna relieve the times we spent and the things we did!! -- refer to previous post..
Ranting and ranting. That's all I do these past few days. Or is that so? I'm not very sure myself either. I'm not happy that I missed Saturday's after-audi-session sectionals. I wanted to see Haziq's (pathetic) attempts at conducting. -.- I mean, its just moving your arms and keeping the beat constant right? And hey! I can do better than that. ;P Maybe I should teach Haziq how to conduct properly in the bus to Marina Bay on Friday and Saturday. But that's another story, so I'd be gone now! Ciao!

Hey ppl..Its one wk after KLWMBC Prelims...And 6 days after the finals..Ah well, time really does fly..Just not too long ago we were still trying to brush up our standards to get in tune for KL...And now we are just living peacefully with almost no band in our lives...Yes the next band prac is 16th Aug. And well, possibly the Sec 4's last band practice. sad indeed. what would life be without band?
Ah back to KLWMBC..I would like to say thanks to TK Band French Horns for making this trip so memorable for me..And probably for the rest of us Sec 4s..haha the hardcore camwhoring, the crazy singing at the back of the bus, hiding the gums in our cases and me blabbering how much I didn't want to go to jail..lol wacky 4 days we had...
Forbidden sectionals were damn fun too..haha we have videos to prove it..lol what a ruckus we made..Hey, not to say that we made havoc! LOL. Oh yes horns, I'm damn proud of all of you. A 'SILVER' standard. Its not bad at all. =)
Now back to the present..Most of the time spent now will be studies, studies and studies..And honestly, its quite pathetic right?? Sigh, we can't help it right? Not that we want society to judge us by academic qualifications or certificates..Pathetic pathetic shit. ;D
Sigh. What would I do without band? What would WE do without band?
Oh yea and I just cut my hair. Its super short. -.- wth. XD
I would like to emphasize AGAIN how proud I am of all of you. This has been a wonderful journey with all of you and I enjoyed to process so much and surely, I will never ever forget a single fragment of it. To my juniors: Carry on the TKBFH legacy! Now that the perfectionist Mich, the sexy-and-hot-as-hell Nad =X, the funny Ian and wacky Ben are finally (almost) going to leave as officially band members, hopes all lie on the next batch. We have done our jobs, now, it is time to do yours. Remember everything we told you and keep them etched in your minds k?
Ah well, enough for a very long post. We'll just see how things go. Good luck to the Sec 1s, 2s and 3s for their common tests and Sec 4s for 'O' Level English Orals. And other coming tests. So long! Ciao!
