NEWSFLASH GUYS!
As much as I've got alot of time to talk to you guys during band (pshyeah, right), we needa talk. About. STUFF! Yeah, we don't have sectionals or SEXtionals or whatever anymore. Quite sad. But spares me the time I could use for sleep at home. Anyway, since I can't find time to talk to you guys in school, I'll say what I hafta here!!
Horns, we're getting a bit too complacent, aren't we? Yeah, we won the best section thingy but don't let that fool you. We all know what Mr Azlan had mentioned about us not being up-to-standard still. I can see you guys are improving so much and hell yeah - the sec FOURS (OMG that's me, mich, ben and ian) are so proud of you juniors!!
I don't want to see complacency, no slacking (that means enduring your horn, hentaking 90 all the way - or at least try damn hard) and trust me, we'd be waaaaay beyond what people expect of us. CAN DO IT ANOT??! :P It's not about being the best section, guys... It's about bringing the band to GLLLOOOORRRYYYY!!
Hmm, what else should I nag at you guys about... Whatever, I know it's the MUMMY'S job to nag... nyehehe but as long as I have the word 'MOTHER' in my name, I am entitled to nag! ;p
Oh yeah - DISCIPLINE. NYAHAHAH
It's not only our section that's lacking in this, believe me you. It's practically the whole band. You guys'd be soo soo glad you weren't born years ago cos the previous batches were really harsh on the band. And that's why their discipline WAS so good. We're lacking in that area cos we're being too leanient (however u spell that) and we need to step it up. From sec 2s to 4s, all of us, including me.
Ok lah, my nagtime is over. Hope you guys know what to do the next prac!!
P.S Back from band, havent showered, took my time to watch Japanese band videos (they're awesome) and band today was -phooohh - now I've got two sources of motivation when I feel too tired to hentak 90 all the way. On either side of me, there's Ben and Wen Hui and damn now NONE of us can slack nyahahaha! cos I keep telling myself if they can hentak 90, so can I!
